Once I have received your contract, Q&A and $200 booking deposit, your session willl be locked in and date secured.

Lastly we create an experience. We will ease into the session, letting the moments come naturally and enjoying the time in the space you've chosen. Before you know it, our time will be up, my camera full of your gorgeous moments and I will leave you with my current turnaround time for your gallery delivery.

When we arrive, I'll run you through what to expect and the vision for the location. Please try to arrive 15 mins earlier so we can do this and get to our starting spot before your session time begins.

You'll have received a location confirmation and Google Pin coordinates for where we will meet, making navigation on the day super simple.

I'll touch base the morning of to make sure everything is good to go. If the weather isn't looking great, this is when we will work out alternative plans if needed.

I'm based in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Photographing people & their beautiful eras in life is honestly a dream job!
I'm super passionate about photographing raw, real connection and constantly strive to capture the most authentic moments.
Beyond the images I create, you can find me camping or enjoying a cuppa and a good book, or simply hanging out with my husband Michael and our three children.

Where do portrait sessions take place?
Based in the Glass House Mountains, I have a collection of favourite locations across the Sunshine Coast — from the hinterland to beautiful coastal spots. Together, we’ll find a location that feels meaningful to you or complements the aesthetic you’re drawn to. I also travel regularly to North Brisbane and Brisbane City.
Everyone feelsl this way, but don't worry, I've got you. My sessions are about creating a space where you can simply be yourselves, allowing everyone’s personality & connection to shine through. I’ll be there to make you feel comfortable, gently guide you when needed and give you direction that helps bring out the very best in your session. The goal isn’t to make you look posed. It’s to make you feel like you.
What if we’re awkward in front of the camera?
If your having an in-home session, we will be fine to go ahead. If there’s light rain, we can often work around it and create something beautiful. However, if the weather isn’t suitable and we both have flexibility to postpone, we’ll move your session to a new date, subject to availability.

What should we wear for our session?
I’ll provide you with a curated colour guide to help you choose tones that feel beautifully cohesive. Most importantly, choose pieces you feel comfortable in, with natural movement and textures that suit the feel of your session. Think about the location and overall aesthetic you’re drawn to, and choose outfits that feel like you.
My sessions are lifestyle-focused, meaning they’re designed to feel natural, relaxed and true to you. I use little to no props, allowing you to be fully present in your surroundings rather than creating a staged set-up.
For family or newborn sessions, simple pieces such as wraps or blankets may be incorporated; please mention your interest in these before your session.
Do you use props or posed setups?
How long does our photoshoot go for?
Most portrait sessions run for around 60 minutes, giving us plenty of time to settle in and capture natural moments without feeling rushed.
Extended family sessions are usually around 75 minutes, while I recommend allowing up to 90 minutes for newborn sessions so we can work at a relaxed pace around feeds, cuddles and little pauses.
Your gallery will usually be ready within 2–4 weeks, although this can extend to around 6 weeks during my busiest seasons and may be as quick as 1 week during quieter periods.
I’ll let you know your current turnaround time after your session, and you’ll receive an email update once your gallery reaches the top of my editing queue.

How many photographs will we receive?
A standard portrait session will typically include around 60 beautifully edited images, while my Mini Moments sessions return an average of 20 images. Every session is unique, so the final number can vary depending on the moments and connections we capture on the day.
